HEPA Air Scrubber
An air scrubber is basically a portable system which removes the particles and chemicals that are present in the air of a particular area. Once we are done with the mold remediation process we make sure to use air scrubbers that help in restoring the air quality by removing the airborne contaminants and mold spores.
How do they work?
These air scrubbers draw air from the surrounding area and then the air passes through a series of filters which remove the contaminants that are present in the air. These impurities get trapped and filtered through a yellow hose that leads to the outside of the property. This entire process is called negative air pressurization.
Our team at South Florida will make sure to purify the air surrounding you so that you have a healthier space to live in.
Understanding HEPA filter
HEPA stands for ‘ High Efficiency Particulate Air’, HEPA is the acronym for a manufactured, certified and tested according to the current HEPA filter standards. HEPA filters are known to remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold and bacteria. HEPA filters are also known to remove airborne particles which are as small as 0.3 microns in diameter.
This machine draws the air from the back and pulls it through the HEPA filter. Our team understands the importance of healthy living which is why we make sure that you live in a healthy environment.
